Parks Canada has a program similar to our NPS Junior & Senior Ranger programs, Parks Canada Xplorers. In 2017 they celebrated 150 years of confederation, “Confederation refers to the process of federal union in which the British North American colonies of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and the Province of Canada joined together to form the Dominion of Canada — a new country”.*
As part of the celebration Parks Canada offered a free pass to anyone, residents or foreign visitors. The cost of the annual pass in 2018 is $137.60,Canadian dollars.
